Auto aim...lol test it yourself on a chopper....

Moving chopper, come at it from the side about 500 yards off...aim straight at it....not one round will hit...

Ok, I tested this earlier this evening on Daqing oilfields. Took the bomber out of the barn, slowly parked it down the tarmac in front of the J-10. Had to move both planes around until the nose of the J-10 was just off the right side of the bomber. Shot thousands of rounds at it from behind (it auto-reloads sittting on the tarmac). My buddy was sitting in the bomber. No hits registered. Not one. The tracers could be seen whizzing past the bomber on the right side. Very near, definitely within +/- 2.5 degrees that he suggests. I looked around the cockpit, and couldn't find the autoaim switch for cannons. Oh, wait. We weren't in the air flying, just on the ground. Autoaim only works while you're in the air.

No it's not because you were on the ground... there is NO auto-aim...

Of course!

While I do see the tracers moving in the intro, I think that has to do with the way that movie was rendered. In real life, having flown all jets over 130 hours, I've never seen my rounds move from anywhere other than dead center of my aiming reticle.
