well i guess i see your point. i was hoping perhaps a coder for a mod would jump in with code proof.

how would you like me to prove it? I suppose I could take screen-grabs of the opening.

it's evident in the j-10. his tracers stay on course even though he rudders a couple of times.

I'll see what I can come up with for proof.

PS - it only seems to work vs. jets

How can I take screenshots from windows media player? if i paste a screenshot into irfanview or paint, the screen in wmp is blank.

Ive come across some funny **** in BF2 so Im not too eager to peove you wrong. If it indeed is there, should be cool to know about. However, if we havent seen it work, it probably isnt working that much.

Wtf are you talking about... there isn't any "auto-aim" for cannons... When you say it works when the other jet is in the "circle"... are you saying you have to be in missle mode for it to work..? Or do you just fly J-10's so there is a circle on either mode..:laugh:

And also, you can't just watch the intro movie and say there is auto-aim. Have you even tested it in a real game..??? You do know that BF2 had a BUNCH of features they took out before release right.. That movie isn't the final version of BF2 that hit the shelves because you see a blackhawk with rocket pod looking things.

i've got 2 frames in the intro video that prooves it definitively, but i can't screen capture from video for some reason.

Wtf are you talking about... there isn't any "auto-aim" for cannons... When you say it works when the other jet is in the "circle"... are you saying you have to be in missle mode for it to work..? Or do you just fly J-10's so there is a circle on either mode..:laugh:

it works in either mode. and yes there is an "auto-aim" for cannons.

This is something I have never noticed because I always try to LEAD my target and that leads to my target NEVER being in the muddle of the HUD.

Maybe that's why I can never take out a jet with cannons
