    Kidding, right?

No? So, 1 shot should drop any soldier, and no respawn because dead is dead, right?. No medic-packs, do difib, no endless ammo-bags, etc. etc.

Even with the fog the game still renders objects far away. or maybe it's just me but when I look at the general direction of karkand from the gas station I get about a 5-10fps drop.

Would you prefer a Larger Karkand? A megapolis the size of Zetar Wetlands maybe?

We do have plenty of decent games out there with views well in excess of 1 Km

Now that would be awesome, a Karkand megaplex. Put together the Karkand 2 map with the stock Karkand map.

If they do that they need to include a complete Sewer system, subway tunnels and complete building interiors just like what America's Army did with the original MOUT McKenna.

The game's fog does add a sense of "dusty arid desert". But no fog is totally how the game should have looked. I wish that the fog was about 20% of what it is now.

I want atleast one map with default uber draw distance, for snipers fun and games. Great Wall is fun and all, but can get old fast.

Now an Armor map in a sand storm with little visibility and a cliff, that be awsome.

Weather is a great visibility mixer.

Storms at night with flashes of thunder and lightning with random rain. Quite relaxing or suspenseful depending on your mood.

Now if Karkand looked like that in MP, I might actually play it. Only being able to see 100 meters in front of me is stupid. The times that I did play it, I was constantly getting sniped/tank whore'd from enemies that I could not see. I know that no-fog hacks exist and that some people use them, but it's such an unfair advantage.

I agree. It's like a whole different city.

Karkand, and maybe Sharqi it could be fun having no fog.
But on maps like Stelamate, fog is a must, because its a jungle...

I don't think that we need to get poeple playing around with their con files. Whether this is for "SP" or not.
Actually, you would get kicked for modified content,

Messing around with sp is fine and dandy for the most part, nothing like making all the tanks as fast as jets and making all bullets have the impact of arty.

You shouldn't be messing with this **** in MP though. Things like fog are meant to give everyone an equalizer in view distance and are to help ease the strain on your comp from rendering too much. The vehicles and players in the game only render for so far, but that is still further than most people are allowed to see with the fog and would give an unfair advantage.
