I'm beside myself at how they are not listening to the requests of their own testers (of whom I know several personally) but of the numerous number of server owners in this very thread who have also said they need to be testing on larger servers.

They only understand the ol'mighty dollar. Vote with your wallet. Patch 1.30 is the reason why I haven't purchased AF or will buy 2142.

I will buy Quake Wars before buying 2142 or any other EA game.

Why would you ban the commander? What if the commander did not know of the glitch? Before I learned of the glitch, if there was a vehicle drop requested I wouldn't hesitate to accept.

Once, I became MEC commander to stop the glitching, and I got constantly spammed with "Requesting Vehicle Drop" over and over by a few SLs. I didn't give in, but I could see someone get fed up with the annoying radio and accept so they would shut up.

I wouldnt ban the commander...

I dont know... You can use a jeep up there for a legit purpose... But the second you use it to glitch into the building, you need to be banned... So if thats what a commander was doing... Then they can give me the screenshots and i can ban them... However i still dont want people in there either way...

i didnt say it didnt exist, i am just saying it is impossible to do, so therefore its a fluke. unless someone can prove me wrong that it can be done on the first attempt. BFF.

What's funny is that I see the MEC commander doing it for himself...

They could have been able to help you immediately if you had Ventrilo installed. You can't expect us to be in there 24/7...that silly career and family thing gets in the way of my gametime :-/

At least we got you on our forums now :) Just keep posting in the thread you did tonight and we'll deal with any after the fact garbage...thanks for the help :-0

Well, seems like PsB have BANNED me from there servers!!! I got so much evidence proving my innocence, Battlerecorder, the screenshots and all sorts. There answer. They dont care!!!! Apparently the other night on the vets server, i got kicked 7 times in a match and so did nearly every other person on the server in the middle of a match haha. It was a joke. But for some reason ive been reported 3 TIMES!!! of chesting in that same match. I was thinking of leaving BF2 but this is the icing on the cake. THe amount of evidence proving my innocence is stupid, yet they dont give a ****!!!

A complete and utter joke, Just like EA/DICE. PB/PsB/EB just dont give a **** about the propper community. Im now going to microwave the CD un till the microwave blows lol. I have a spare microwave and will be recording it and will post the link soon as its up :)

Back on subject, Nice to see once more EA/DICE kicking the community (what's left of it) down by adding yet more features and not fixing the things that need fixing haha.

What do you mean? EA/DICE have released 1.31 for you guys to test already?

That would be great news if they release a BETA of a patch first and battlerecorder/debug the thing. Might run a little slower or whatnot, but at least it'll stress-test the bugs before it gets to the general public.

Yeah, nice letter.

But letters like this one were send to EA like a thousand times.
It doesn't make a difference.
I'm pretty sure they're aware of all that but they just don't show an reaction.

To be honest.

BF2 was a system hog right from the start, a lot of ppl. bought hardware to play this game on a acceptable level.

And I'm not talking about the ranked 16 or 32 slot servers.
I'm talking about the full 64 slot experience.

I upgraded my PC a various times, not only for BF2 but it was one of the reasons.

I played till Patch 1.03 (which was the best patch so far).

And then came Special Forces.

Developed by DICE Canada who also done Battlefield Vietnam.

I was very sure they would do the same crappy coding they've done with BFV again with SF.

And what can I say. Not only SF was a performance nightmare, BF2 suffered also from the alteration they've done to implement SF.

I thought I couldn't believe my eyes.

BF2 dropped from 35-50 fps down to 20-35 on most 64 maps.

In SF I even couldn't fly a helicopter because the game would hang and stutter for seconds.


My conclusion is:

The game is screwed. The worked so much on it and the optimization has gone down the drain.

The whole game feels like a alpha version to me now and I'm really sick of spending money on the BF franchise.

They only hope for games like BF is Quake Wars.
If Splash Damage can pull it off, to release a stable game with a constant and fluid gameplay, then they have my respect.

BF is dead for me and as much I appreciate to see ppl. sending letters, I just don't think it will make any difference.
The game is done and with the release of BF 2142 the whole catastrophe will be there again.

But this time I will keep my money and I suggest you do the same.

that glitch is impossible to do, i tried for over 30 minutes with no luck...i think it was just a fluke.

The Hotel gltich? Haha, probably one of the easiest glitchs EVER in a game. Almost every 64 Karkand server I goto has someone doing it, or trying it.

A fluke... So, all those guys that are inside the hotel when i ban them arent really inside there?

If you look around im sure you will find a video, it can be done... Go into any 64man server and watch someone do it... Thats how often it happens...
