And what about the MEC commander? Correct me if I am wrong, but as far as I can tell, this exploit is not possible without the commander's explicit assistance (i.e., vehicle drop), yet so far, I have yet to hear anyone even suggest making him accountable, too. Why not?

We played ARMS in a clan war and all of them do it. Many top clans do, THey have to cause all other tops clans do. ARMS also spawn block will is really annoying!!!

Dropping or placing a vehicle on a spawn point is not an exploit.

THis was before 1.3 and we play INFANTRY ONLY!!! So standing inm spawn points is!!!! Not that ClanBase give a toss. DOnt even get me started on those pea brains!!!

I think though EA/DICE are in for a big suprise with 2142, I can see them having an unexpected shortfall with that cause of there shear neglagence. And it is neglagence. Not that they care. If it flops they'll just move on to ruin another franchise. C&C 3 is out next year lol. I wont be buying that for the simple fact of it been EA

Guessing that you are providing that link to show me that commanders are being held accountable, great. Good to hear. This site (totalbf2.com) is literally the only BF2 site I visit, and my query above only related to the TBF2.com community.

Well it is no secret they're testing a new map and server build as evidenced here: http://www.game-monitor.com/GameServ...67/Jihad2.html

But once again they are not testing a 64 man server. The server crashes are (and have always been) on the larger client servers of approx 55+. Testing on 32 man servers is in no way going to fish out bugs from the major crash issues associated with this game.

I'm beside myself at how they are not listening to the requests of their own testers (of whom I know several personally) but of the numerous number of server owners in this very thread who have also said they need to be testing on larger servers.

that glitch is impossible to do, i tried for over 30 minutes with no luck...i think it was just a fluke.

A fluke... So, all those guys that are inside the hotel when i ban them arent really inside there?

If you look around im sure you will find a video, it can be done... Go into any 64man server and watch someone do it... Thats how often it happens...

Why would you ban the commander? What if the commander did not know of the glitch? Before I learned of the glitch, if there was a vehicle drop requested I wouldn't hesitate to accept.

Once, I became MEC commander to stop the glitching, and I got constantly spammed with "Requesting Vehicle Drop" over and over by a few SLs. I didn't give in, but I could see someone get fed up with the annoying radio and accept so they would shut up.
