copilot in a 2 seater plane is useless

I dunno how you can kill something with those rockets, I never killed anyone or destroyed anything with it, its so hard to aim, does anyone else find this kinda useless

Actualy... you dont need to aim, they lock on to enemy vehicles. And you will only be abled to do much in the copilots seat if you use VoiP, otherwise, if the pilot takes his hands off the controls to answer... BOOM!

yea thats kinda the big problem, you can only hit something if you are flying straight towards it but most pilots dont fly straight for a longer period of time:laugh:

Useless hardly. The missles will lock on when you hold over a target long enough. If you have a decent pilot you can seriously own with them.

Most of the time pilots are like that, but as someone who fly's and missile's i can say for good reason, most of the time when i fly the copilot is AFK or something, just siting there to rack up team points when the pilot get a kill, he gets points for driver assist, even though he doesn't drive/fly! And alot of the time when im flying im coming in om a target at just above stall speed, perfect conditions, not banking or anything... and the copilot doesnt do anything, and by then its too late for me to bomb 'em.

...........holding over target is the problem...seems I fly with noobs most of the time...therefor I just stay on the ground.....hate machine is the greatest cd!!!!!

Another one that doesn't know how to use the guided missiles so thinks they are useless. Why are you making fool out of yourself writing posts like this? Why don't you write normal post asking for advice how to use the missiles instead?

Really? I have taken some helis and ground vehicles out with those guided-missiles, lucky shot I guess, but it does a lot of damage, but slow reload, just need to lock on and wait for the signal

The combination of the free fall bombs and the guided missiles on the bomber can get both the pilot and the copilot some serious points in a round. Been there, done it.

I dont want to bother using them coz it seems stupid, it seems imosible especially if your pilot doesnt care

If you have a bomber pilot that knows how to line a copilot up, its better than the carpet bombs. I set my buddy up in a round of oman and he went 63-3 and i went 31-3.

The splash damage on that missle is amazing and it can be guided.

depends on your pilot. With a good pilot, you can rack up kills like whoa.

I've seen some of our better pilots take their time flying around on a map like Clean Sweep and help guys get their airiel service ribbons flying in the 2nd spot - its insta-death (just like helo's TV missles) when you fly slow enough to lock onto things. We have a couple guys that can fly solo and take out the enemy UAV with it (the only weapon that takes out uav besides c4).

lol.. i kinda use them like you would in the chopper. you know.. the 2nd seat switch trick... go up high, look @ a target switch seats, right click, lock fire. switch back... seems complicated, but its rather easier than said...

i agree, i got alot of kills in operation clean sweep as co pilot, wo much comm too. prob cos my pilot was a v pro ltc...
