ok the mod keeps crashing. Once I click the JOIN button the game crashes. What to do??? How do I uninstall this thng???

It is a great mod for bf2 i love the frogfoot and a10 but the best thing i like is the radio chatter in the jeeps its absolutly great i actually just sat and listened to them talking i know sad but listen its quite funny and then boom it hits you with bobby mcferrin "dont worry be happy" ala jarhead.

okay you need to set it on medium setting for terrain that should sort it out i had same problem and was told to do that and it worked .

and all my ettings are set to low... should I up the terrain to med?

Man it just got done downloading and I was typing... the dialog box popped up as it moves to your desktop (or where ever you dl it to) and I hit the space bar (which means cancel) by accident and now it's gone LOL. I have to DL it again, I can find it in my cache. =(

It's a worth while mod, the fact that you have personal AA kits makes life a whole lot more liveable on the ground. I pretty much used to just fly in BF2 all the time, but I have actually found that I spend a good deal of time running around on foot in this game.

The game has its fair share of bugs, but the majority of them are pretty minor. There are a few cons about it though:

The M16 is a sniper rifle without the scope
Everyone and their grandma wants to be on the US side
Tanks are too easy to get one shot kills on
Let me turn the damn radar off on the fighter jets
Helis can flare way too fast
Sniper rifles are pretty much unusable due to a bug they are addressing

The good stuff:

Selectable tank rounds
Tank zoom
Dumbfire AT rounds
Personal AA kit
Lots of ground vehicles for major vehicle mayhem fights
All the maps are good for what their intentions were

It really is a very solid beta for a first release, give it a try if you haven't, it is more of what BF2 should have been.

personal AA kits? to hell with that. LEts think outside the box here, and turn the tables by thinking what it would be like for jets to lock onto infantry; hmm.......... see the validity of both concepts? i can only imagine 20+ guys running around with stingers. I can also see every aircraft, fixed wing and rotary not being used at all.

Changed it to Mediu and it worked.

Joind a UK server. Worst experiance ever. The server was FULL of ****ing stupid little ****s, idiots, what a load of fags, everyone was TKing for jets... some stupid {CB}roberts.......... something guy was TKing everyone ans saying Abda Allah or some **** like that.

It was nonsence.


But the A10 mmmmmmmmmmmmm baby! That thing rocks It's not overpowered at all. Thought, in the air against a jet it's a bit useless, when you have a jet behind you. A decent pilot will take it out in no time.


Was fun shooting other jets with a A10s cannon tho And stopping with a cannon lol
