Hmm good thread. I have yet to toy around with trying mods. This will set me in the right direction. I will give it a try tonight.

Any way for us who will play this mod to link up so we can fill a server up?

Dude, no $hit. Know what doesn't exist? Any modernized Military unit running around with a platoon full of 11 bravos with stingers in their hands. They simply served as a buffer between the jihadists and their goal of pushing the Russians out of Afghanistan with their elite hinds. But yea I did not play BFV, was still gaming on console when that was popular. Also, I'm not knocking it, I'm just saying I know what kind of havoc a stationary stinger or 2 or 3 on a map can cause aircraft (primarily helos) and the idea of 10 to 30 mobile stingers on a map firing at aircraft is a bit frightening to pilot like myself. But like Metallica said if it's as about as much as threat to jets as an F35 is to a J10, then I feel for you helo jockeys:cry:

out of all the settings, you must have terrain detail on medium. for some earthly/software reason.

Oh god, I am like the worst infantry server on the planet. If lag allowed me to do so, I'd manage to shoot myself before anyone else. I do make a good meat shield though :laugh:

Apparently I did a little too good on FMJ yesterday though, I got booted lol. One of my rare shiny days on foot and it got ruined.

Stop on in at cb4clan.com sometime, our ts info is there, we are always up for a good laugh and a few extra people to pub with.

i was about to join your squad on the next round but you vamoosed. and i'll take you up on that ts sometime. i hop around several ts's, i'm a voip hopper.

I remember playing USI on a city map(forget name srry) and I could hear the song "Dont worry be happy now" So I thought it was someone downstairs with the tv on but no, go back ingame and I hear it again. I go closer to this half burnt vehicle and hear the radio playing from ingame. I felt stupid, but it was funny.

for some people, the devs have said that medium on terrain might help, just an fyi.
