i installed the mod, and it blew out my BF2, lol "ya broke my BF2". Installed it just fine in the correct directory, and all that. Went to run it, and boom, desktop, boom desktop, over and over. Oh, i know what you are gonna say, you have to run in medium this and that, i did, and it still broke my BF2, i really wish i could play....

try it before you knock it. there are drawbacks to being an AA infantry.

Put it this way.. if an engineer locks onto you with his stinger, its like dodging a JSF missle in a J-10... pretty easy...

Personal AA kits are not as bad as you think. Seeing as USI has more focus on vehicles, if you take the AA kit, you are completely and utterly f*cked if a tank rolls up on you. Same with taking the AT kit, if you take it, you're at the mercy of the dedicated antiarmor jets and helis. With either kit, your at a disadvantage against the ground pounders that are nubbin you with their assault rifles.

You are already screwed as infantry, unless you feel like hoofing it for about 400+ meters to any other flag, you have to take a vehicle, and guess what? You show up on the bombers HUD.

It is a nice bit of checks and balance that I had been stating should have existed in BF2 in the first place.

Believe me, you never see 20 plus guys running around with stingers, even on a 48+ person server, they'd be roadkill for the tanks and apcs. I've never seen it in the week I have been playing and I doubt I ever will.

The only helos and jets that get smoked by AA of any sort, are the ones that just plain old suck or are just new to flying, and in that manner, they are screwed against enemy fighter jets anyways.

Try it out before you knock it, it is very well balanced.

If you see me on a server, I'm prone to screwing around alot and going afk (two toddlers). Or, it's my 2 and half year old toddler sitting at my desk running face first into a wall for about 15 minutes.

Oh god, I am like the worst infantry server on the planet. If lag allowed me to do so, I'd manage to shoot myself before anyone else. I do make a good meat shield though

Apparently I did a little too good on FMJ yesterday though, I got booted lol. One of my rare shiny days on foot and it got ruined.

Stop on in at cb4clan.com sometime, our ts info is there, we are always up for a good laugh and a few extra people to pub with.

Ya, USI is sweet. Too bad I suck at flying, else I'd own with that A-10!
At least I do own on Basrah Streets-all that Karkand pays off on that level.
