There are no hacks that can make it so you get perfect grenade throws. Go out and look. I make a point of keeping tabs on releases. PB really is doing a good job so far.

Ya ..theres no working aim related hacks ..it just wouldnt do much good in this game. TRu-AIM still works but its a mouseover code so you really have to aim anyways for it to work lol.

The most popular hacks involve seeing more than you should. The hot thing for the past 5 or so months is the old red model hacks ..your enemies appear BRIGHT red and stand out past max view distance. Also various other texture hacks such as one that can remove sky, grass/bushes, smoke, explosions, debris, SOME WALLS, and fog of war.

If you think these hacks have a life of about a weekend before PB detects them then youre just living in la la land. The last major red model hack lasted for over 6 months before PB could do anything about it.

These new hacks are disolvers as well as 3pp's and in every game PB has protected its always been extremely weak against disolvers. Also dont expect to PB-SS and see these in action ..most block it, some switch off for the screen-shot.

Cheating always has been and always will be widespread....seems like there are more people out there that would rather cheat and have killer stats, than there are people that would rather play the game the correct way

This is true...I think the only real way to deal with cheaters is to best them at their own game...playing the real way, show them that you dont need to cheat to be good (not that i'm good or anything)

I also witnessed one of these cheaters.

Get this: He could kill me in ONE SECOND from a huge distance away with one burst of the AK-101!!!! And this didn't just happen once. It happened many times. His score? 56 kills 0 deaths. All on foot.

Doesn't really bother me though, because he KNOWS he is cheating and it's not his true skill.

EDIT: Just wanted to add that this is the first case of a possible 'cheater' that i have witnessed in all the time i've played BF2.

That's the kind of score i'd get on Warlord by going sniper or spec forces and putting either claymores or C4 on the stairs of the TV station while i wait for people coming up. hehe.

Sounds like the battle cry of a cheater trying to push the focus off himself. I dont "cry" cheater. Most of the time im not the dying. I suspect, observe, conclude, and express my opinions ..and most of the time im right.

My only regret is there is no suitable punishment for those cheaters. So I say F it and move on.

Theres cheats in every game, no matter what game, as soon as a game comes out a wallhack is usually developed into it before you install it:

Punkbuster only bans by their database, so they catch the dumbasses who dl the hack and use it when its already in their database, but they don't catch the actual makers or those with private versions. If someone makes a hack and gives it to their friends only but its not available on the internet, then punkbuster can't add it to their database, so they are free to cheat without being caught by anti-cheat programs.

Yes you no doubt could have been killed by someone cheating, they have an advantage but either disconnect or adapt.

It's the same story every time a new patch release is immenant.The private hacks PB has been unable to detect go public cause the coder knows he's going to have to start from scratch to build a new one for the new patch in most cases.I've seen this MO in every online game I've ever played,and believe me,I've played a lot of them.It's always the same core group of coders with their minions of script kiddies to use as scape goats releasing the damn things.After the patch release you get about 2 weeks hack free until the coders have found the new code caves and offsets,then they start releasing to their unsuspecting minions until the hack is"perfected",then they stop releasing,keeping the'perfected'product for themselves.Amazes me how many dupes keep dowloading the hacks and"beta tests"the things for the coders not realizing what's really happening.These are the peeps that run back to the sites crying,WAHHH,the cheat is detected!WAHHH,I'm banned!WAHHH,I can't play BF2 cuz your cheat got me banned!Get a clue people!Your being EXPLOITED by a bunch of SMACKTARDS that use YOU to further their OWN agenda.Of course I expect this post never to be seen by said minions because they almost never visit legitimate sites dedicated to the game their bent on cheating at.Still,I feel better for having TRIED to warn those that feel compelled to cheat whatever their misguided reasons may be.

AMEN! there are definatly more people accusing others of cheating then there are actual cheats, sad but true in all games. In fact i dare say people screaming cheater are actually more annoying then the cheaters themselves as you can always kill cheats by outsmarting them and they will probably get bored and more to another game quickly...... but whiners live on

The main thing to look out for is guys who constantly turn in a unusual way the only reason I post this is so all you non cheaters know a little better what to look out for I just wish Ea would sort out these git's at the site who make these.
