About to try. I use the Logitech Force 3D Pro.

Have you ever looked at the TrackIR. http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/ They have been trying to get BF2 support since last year.
I'm hoping I can use it with joy to key.

Will let you know how I go with it.

I have a Logitech Dual Action Gamepad i'd like to use (i can use it for everything like flying jets and choppers,ect.) but i can't figure how to make the POV work with the annalog sticks on the controler?

Have you TRIED downloading the standable JoyToKey app in my first post and playing around with it?

It should be able to give you what you need.

So what are you trying to do exactly...

Are you trying to achieve in-cockpit mouselooking with one of the analog sticks?

If so, just load my JoyToKey .bat file and profiles and then tweak the mouse axes so that they are mapped to the analog stick you want.

Otherwise, you'll have to load 2 instances of JoyToKey and map analog stick movements to 'left control' in once instances and the mouse axes in the other.

If you need more help, I could try editing JoyToKey so that it works with my DualShock gamepad ... just for an example.

Im trying to use the gamepad to move when i'm on the ground as a soldier. I can get the left analog stick to work as the left, right, forward and back; but the right analog i cant get the mouse movements to transfer over for the aiming action. If you can edit JoyToKey so that it works with the gamepad that would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a quick file I created that works for my Dual Shock controller where the right analog stick controls mouse movement.

Simply unzip this file to where joytokey.exe resides and run joytokey. Select 'gamepad' from the list of configurations on the left.

Let me know how you make out.

Have read the previous 6 pages :) but am still unclear about something. I use Joy2Key, but was wondering whether it's possible to use the hat to move the view just a slight bit. What I have now is when I press to the right, the view moves to the right - as soon as I let go it centers again. Any way to avoid this, ie keep it where I moved it to?

Question...is it possible to have the POV work as you have it setup, but also be able to push another key and have seperate functions for the POV as well? e.g. Can I push POV up and view up and then push button 8 and POV up and have it do something else? I suspect this won't work because of the whole LCTRL thing, but if anyone knows a way to make this work that'd be great.

Sure..simply modify the files so that you have to hold down one of the joystick buttons to achieve the mouselook effect.

Personally, this is the method I use. That way, I can mouselook incrementally and when I let go of the joystick button, THEN my view returns to center.

Talus ive read and download the the programs u have offered but still new @ this programing and config: i have a Logitech gamepad with dual joysticks and have the same problem stated in Ksmiff thread. ? which dwnload iam i suppose 2 dwn load i knw im suppose 2 dwn load the gamepad zip u provided ,also whn choosing game pad whn the joy 2 key is running im not certain on wht 2 put in the axis ,slider and button section whn i put what i think i suppose 2 and the enter the game it still does as usal left analog moves fwd,bac,rght,lft .... need a step by step on how 2 do read the instutions but i just dont get it been trying 2 get this controller 2 wrk with this game for weeks and my mind wont let me give up need help bad !!!!!

Start with downloading Gamepad.zip from a few posts up and just play around with it.

To figure out what axis is what, simply map a mouse movement to each axis at a time and when moving that axis moves the mouse, voila..you know what does what.

PS - reading your post nearly gave me a headache
