the only problem with solo-piloting, is the fact that ppl cannot get a lock on it....thats it.

Yep, definitely needs nerfing. Some players are really good at it, and there's no way to bring them down.

I always do my best to get a competent gunner, asking people if anyone wants a ride. I'm rather good with solo piloting and I would hate to be pretty much defenceless against someone who does have the luck to have a gunner who can shoot.

I don't see what the f*cking problem is anyway, a good pilot/gunner team will beat the solo pilot in many ways.

It seems to me that the only people who are complaining about this are new players with a bad k: D. Can't stand dieing, perhaps? learn to defend yourself.

I hopped in a two-seat helicopter on an EA WC server last night. The pilot promptly flew to the edge of map so I was out of bounds. I died and was helpless to do anything about it.

I just want to say.. playing solo in a two seat helicopter is LAME! Killing your teammate in order to fly solo is even LAMER!

EA, the helicopter should receive damage for being out of bounds and not just the player. Just a thought.

They are not lamers. They are just uesing waht ea did not dis-allow them.
Blame ea for not thinking that you could open your jet/heli cockpit lid and move (in mid-air mind you) to the oppisite seat and back in a fraction of a second. Of course ea never escapes common sence and we pay with our deaths in thier game every day. Hmmm, I love how jesus walks past my clamore and magic happens. Wait dont claymores expode?

Lately I've been giving gunners a chance. I let them gun for me once. If they

A - dont try to use the TV missile
B - suck at using the TV missile
C - use the minigun to shoot at things 20 miles away
D - are just plain clueless

Then a tk, or friendly out of bounds accident occurs.

**** you noobies, waahhh he didnt let me gun ahahahaaaaahhhhh. Suck me sideways.

Everyone can do it, but HOW WELL can you do so ? It's like saying "everyone can do arithmetics": some of us can do it much better and faster than you ever will, and that's the point.

you shouldnt tk, or force suicides regardless of how pompus, and arrogant you are, and regardless of how you feel another player performs in the gunner seat......your job as a better player is to help those with less skill/experience learn the ropes, not opress the noobs.....

ide rather have a complete noobin the gunners seat than fly solo....i can destroy most vehicles with my reg missles.....and ill let him rack up chain-gun kills on infantry, and to be helpful, i might try to give a tip or two so we can be more effective, and to help those who are skilless noobs get a chance to become skilled and experienced.......its common sense that the only thing that seperates a skilled player from a noob is experience, and when you deny them their RIGHT to gain experience, you only further supress their growing as a skilled gunner/pilot....

no respectable player/person would be an ass like that.....it shows you dont have enough skill to survive using only your reg missles.....most ppl who TK, or force suicide out of bounds, do it so they can whore the tv missle, and use nothing else, and to avoid any AA locks....

if they just look at help function they would know how to use it.

my first time was just one round with bots and clear was it..
just tested everything so I didn't spoil the fun from others.

Agreed. I realize that there are times when nobody is interested in being your gunner. As long as you make an attempt to get a gunner, then I don't see anything against flying solo.

I cannot excuse TKing or OOB killing in order to hog the attack helicopter. It's just poor sportmanship.

Indeed but if someone get's in my chopper and doesn't knows how to gun and is a complete (You can fill in) if they do it for n00bz0Rz cH0pp4hr pilots then it's not that bad in my opinion but if it's just for themself and they just want to fly solo then your an absolute (You can fill in)..

I actually had the pleasure of flying with you the other day. I'm a good gunner, almost never missing a TV guided shot, and as a 2nd. luitenant, someone who people seem to trust enough just to give me a go at gunning. Yet you didn't even ask me to get out, you just flew straight to the edge of the map, thinking I would actually be stupid enough to sit there and die.

I have heard lots of complaints about you guys before, and after reading what you said, it's definetely no surprise

By the way, teamkilling other players to get back at EA makes absolutely no sense at all

although, as you said 'my fun is more important to me than others' pretty much implies what kind of person you are.

The entire iLL clan should just be banned from the internet (if only)
