People always say that PC gaming is dying but when I look at massive and innovative games like BF2, EQ, and WoW (I hate rpgs btw), I'm always reminded of how powerful PC games can be. The PS3 and Xbox360 may have the temporary upper hand over PC's but even BF:MC 360 is limited to a pathetic 24 players when the PC version was rumoured to support 128! What a joke!! There's also the wonderful set top box-like quality of PCs. You can play a few games of BF, check your email, steal some golf money from RIAA execs, and post on forums all at the same time! Take that and shove it up your ass sony!@

PC gaming will never die, as long as there are peeps who love tweaking their pc's to get better performance out of it.

Stick an upgraded graphics card in and hey presto, instantly get better performance
You cant tweak a console

Have played on consoles for years and only got into pc gaming in the last couple , but will not look back now!!

First, if you think PC "PWNZZZZ" because it has online MP FPS games, then youre just an ignorant fool who limits himself to one area. You know, there are more to games than running in the desert, jumping 5 feet into the air and killing people.

So far, Ive had fun playing both. I must say, that PC games boil down to good FPS MP games and RTS, and thats about it. Id choose Burnout games over any NFS EA ****. And Resident Evil over any survival horror released on PC.

Console games will always suck? You dont quite get to read much do you? Fact is that console market is doing quite well. And console games do pretty damn well. You can take all the "whining" threads from TotalBF2 and draw your conclusions

every aspect means more than 1 thing genius. and if i was a Pc fan boy why would i own a Xbox360, Xbox, PS2. what im saying is PC games have way more flexability than console games . first and formost there would be nno modding of games if there was no PC, cant mod a console gamee now can ya. Mods have made some games god like. lets not start on the pure fact that with consoles space is an issue. or the fact that online play ussually costs money. the fact that the keyboard/mouse is far far superior to the joypad. yes your thinking "well the 360 can use M/K". BUT, it is not propery calibrated for all games and ussually even in the games itr is made for M/K on a console is just crap. i could keep going but i think you get the point .

Why should one want to mod a game anyway? Consoles dont suck compared to PCs because they lack modding capabilities. Youre comparing a car to a jet and you tell me a car sucks because it cant fly. Cars arent supposed to fly, console games are not meant to be modded. Maybe youll tell me that console games suck because they lack a keyboard... oh wait, I think you did!

Console games replay value comes from TOTALLY different areas than PC games. They are uncomparable in many aspect. If you prefer modding and MP online FPS games, you shouldnt say "consoles suck" because that makes you look like an ignorant juvenile.

True, "mods have made games godlike". However, why not create games that are godlike from the start? Consoles, just as PCs DO have various titles that are godlike from the start. Just because MGS3 in PS2 is one serious kicker, doesnt mean PCs start to suck.

And just because BF2 has an amazing replay value doesnt make consoles suck ass. Again, most people compare a car to a jet and bring out ignorant "facts".

I dont play MP FPS games on a console because Im not a stupid fanboy. There are games that perform best on various platforms, and I choose accoordingly. Ive never bought a RTS on a console. Ive bought Cold Fear and Resident Evil 4 to a console, which are the closest thing you get to a FPS without asking for a mouse.

The fundamental flaw in your statements is that you compare FPS on consoles to FPS to PCs. Most of us who have played FPS on both can give you an answer which is better on which system.
