Yes the bots are much easier to play against than humans. The point is that you can practice with your buddies with co-op.

Imagine if they had the FEAR AI.....a team that worked like one in bf2....we'd get owned.

The bots would be launching a collective offensive while half the human team is tking for vehicles, a few medics reviving during arty strikes, and only about 1/4 of the team actually playing but off on their own.

On a more serious note, that might be kind of cool to have maybe waves of bots etc. The US has to defend the tv tower against waves of bots? Or just to help with empty servers...

All you have to do is change your bot skill level to 1.0. Bet they kick your butt then. :laugh:

Im sorry, but the whole purpose for going online to MULTIPLAY is to play against HUMAN players. I too played bot filled servers in UNREAL TOURNAMENT..........after about 3 minutes of it, I avoided those servers like the plague.
In the end, this playing against bots as a new mode, is pretty stupid.

I loved playing with bots on BF:V. On max they will play better then us humans.

no one is forcing you to play bots??

coop will be for unranked servers only (thats a defo) i doubt it will be ranked.

coop is for lan(offline play,you have to mess around atm just to play offline with a few m8's in lan.conect to ip only works if all cpu on lan are connected to internet) or so you can create a server and have youre buddys join over(internet)

thats all.

dont compare bf2 to ut.

when that game came out not many ppl played online and had 56k bandwith.

but anyone who has played 1942/dc will no what a cool feature coop was,and also how disapointing it was for some to have a lame 8v8 singleplayer.

infact some ppl were so annoyed they made there own coop mod for bf2
c00p.4.0 anyone.

nowadays there are mods to add more bots,biggermaps oh and lets not forget,differnt maps with SP support.

Again, I'll bet you haven't played the bots with their skill level at 1.0. Just go to X:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\AI\AIDefault. Open it up with notepad and you'll see aiSettings.setBotSkill 0.4. Just change the 0.4 to 1.0 and save it. Then tell me it's boring. You can also change the number of bots. I have mine set to 41.
