its supposed to stand for CO-Ops or cooperation, i think its something gotta do with teamwork, in a few games other than BF2 i played coop before, its where blue team fight against red team which has single player AIs but harder.

Its basically multi-player with bots fighting with / against you, if you click on the server you will see the bot names, alot of which are based off real dice employee's etc.

I'm really looking forward to that new feature; I just hope the AI is challenging enough.

j/k, but i am sure that argument will pop up sometime.......

i think its an exciting new game-mode to look foward to, and i am greatful if EA/DICE give this to us at no extra cost, as we are needing new game-modes

I don't see why people are so excited. Alot of CS:S servers run this form of "co-op" gameplay. They're usually the servers that no one plays on. This would only be cool if you could add bots beyond the 64 player limit. Even then I don't get any satisfaction from killing AI opponents unless they're damn good like FEAR or Far Cry. BF2 definitly isn't in the same league.
