The incorrectness comes with using the % sign when TK's aren't counted as regular kills. The right thing to do is tk's * 100 / (kills + tk's). That's your percentage of TK's.
So with my formula, my percentage is 442 * 100 / (7210+442) = 5.77%.
NorskSoldat's formula is just plain wrong, as it allows someone to have over 100% teamkills (if they have, for example, 10 kills and 20 teamkills).
Before you bash someone else's math skills, take a good, long, hard look at your own.
Well seems like someone already said this. Oh well, another opinion from someone with university math experience (CS student) doesn't hurt.
Another suggestion: perhaps what you want is TK's per kill or kills per TK? All you have to do to get these formulas is to look at the units:
K/TK: kills / TK's = kills per tk
TK/K: TK's / kills = TK's per kill
