i like to join regular 24/7 karkand servers, and I use knife only...so to me, it is the same, only alot more challenging/fun/rewarding

This debate gets sparked up every week in a new thread, but all the posts are the same.

It is pretty simple, if people really wanted to just play for fun, custom maps and mods would be much more popular.

If I set up an unranked server and called it knife and pistol only, it would be empty all the time, because people want their points. People don't join unranked servers, perhaps one day they will have enough points and really want to play for "fun" but that day is not here yet.

Agreed.

I hate people that says its "ok" to play on these servers. I have worked hard to get my knife kills . Then some asshat goes on K&P servers and earn them the lame way.
Also the point is, on these servers a person can get a score from 450- 1600.When regular server players work hard to get around 90-250.

If people didnt care about stats/scores it wouldnt be a big deal. But until then, these servers will be for stat reseting grounds.
