        1. Uninstall your current drivers
        2. Reboot
        3. Use Driver Cleaner
        4. Turn off the computer and unplug it from the socket in the wall. Unplug the cable between your monitor and your computer
        5. Touch the metal part of the back of your computer before touching anything inside

Should be good to go from there. Each case is different as to how the graphics card is secured in, but it's usually pretty obvious.

...and as far as disabling onboard video goes, go into your BIOS right when your system boots and start looking around. Generally the option is in Integrated Peripherals, but each bios is a little different. Some don't let you disable it, BUT there will be an option in one of the menus to allow you to choose which display to activate first (ex. onboard, pci, agp, pci-e, etc.). Just switch it to whatever card type you installed and the rest is cake.

Don't be scared to crack your computer open. It's alot harder than you think to break the hardware. Make sure before you even open it that EVERYTHING is unplugged from it, especially power.

And.. MAKE SURE YOU GROUND YOUSELF!! this is the number 1 rule.. you dont want to ruin any of that hardware, so touch a piece of metal, like you case, just to make sure you havn't picked up any static, then you'll be fine

i dont think so.. im suprised you can play with a 64MB card. But with a better card,, then 1.7 Gigs of RAM, will help alot..

                    Re: Which Graphic Card?

different bus types to plug your graphics card into. PCIe allows for a wider bus and more data to pass through.

And they are slightly different shapes so you can't put an AGP card into a PCIe slot or vice versa

You can scrape up another $14 can't you.

Assuming you have PCI-e it's definately worth the upgrade.
yep every penny counts that would be good upgrade.

                                My comp spec :
                                -AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3200+ ( 2.0GHz ) with Hyper-Transport Technology
-1.2 Gig RAM (Planning to get another 512MB)

can i buy a PCI-e 128mb graphic card with this spec and still play bf2?
