Ok...lets say iam gonna buy this cards...examples

Nvidia GF-6600GT (128MB+TV+DVI - Leadtek
Nvidia GF-6600GT (128MB+TV+DVI - Inno3D

Which one should i get? Does this Leadtek and Inno3D seperates them both?
and wat is this +TV+DVI??

they would both suck, i really recommend saving up some more so you cant get a 6800 GS or 7600 GT. those cards would run bf2 on low settings and 1024 x 768, i think you will be disappointed with them.

I mean what is the difference between them? They look the same to me except for the Leadtek and Inno3D...is that the manufacturer or something? Sorry but i dont know about graphic cards at all

they will probably both be about the same, but you should look and the core clock speed and the memory clock speed, that will probably be the only major difference between the two.

No, the 6600gt will run better than all low, please don't spread misinformation. While not the best cards 6600gts are decent gaming cards. When I had mine I han everything high except textures and lighting, those were on medium.

As for the brand, it doesn't usually make a diffrence performance wise, go with the one that has higher clockspeeds. If they both have the same clockspeeds then go with the one with a better warranty.

The TV means that it has a TV out socket (can connect it to your tv) and the DVI (digital video interface) i think.. lol.. means you can use a digital connection to your monitor, better image quality than the older sockets, the only other diffetence is trhe brands (LeadTek, Inno3D). They will vary slightly, but its just some brands are better than others, and some companies OC their cards while others odnt.

The people on here can tell you 99% of things you need to know about buying any component. www.extremeoverclocking.com is a great website and will give you all the low down (not just for overclocking) but about all the ports and jargon that is used.

MD_Ali, most of the readers here are from overseas ie: USA,UK and etc.... It's difficult for them to gauge the right card for your system and within your budget due to currency exchange rate, our local retail prices and etc....

So out of those i would say the x1300 is the best there, it will be able to run BF2 at medium settings, at maybe 1024 x 768. So not the top of the range but its ok. I would say its better than the 7300 as i have not heard anything good about the 7300's yet. The 6600 is a great card, cheeap, but unfortunatly its getting on in age, so maybe all medium if you are lucky, but at low resoloutions.

hi im thinking about asking for a new graphics card for my birthday and i was wondering if you could help me decide which one.

Specs:
AMD athlon 64 3800+
1GB RAM
nvidia geforce 6200se turbo cache PCI

by the way i dont know alot about computers if you need to know anything else let me know and ill try to find it out.

my budget is around £150 ($300 approx.)

Depending on your psu, a 7900gt should fit your budget.

To get the most "bang for your buck" you would be best to get a 7600GT I would say (they vary online from around £130 to £150).
