I know that pci-e has been out for a while now, but it seems like agp suddenly died very quickly over the past four months. When I ordered my original parts, Newegg.com was about 50/50. Now they only have a few to choose from, and the pickings are slim. Directron.com has 2 I believe (and I'm going to research the Gigabyte one to see if it's any good). An eBay search for "+939 +agp" returns 12 auctions. Twelve!!! Now it seems that most of the people I talk to on here have pci-e. I'm aware that a vast grouping of TBF2'rs are still running pre-XP on pre P4/AMD etc, but most of the people I talk to, I talk to because they have nice rigs. And are cool. (Not to say all you prebies aren't cool. I'm not elitist yet)
Anyway, I'm trying to replace my board with a better one before I install water cooling. My videocard is brand new and should be able to handle BF2, COD2, FEAR, etc at full specs. At most, with the help of water cooling and careful overclocking. I do fully plan to build a second rig which will run in sli with a dual core processor, and possibly chilled cooling (just for fun) and better ram. But for this computer, and this point in time, I feel like I'm looking for parts for a Model T Ford! Can anyone point me in the right direction of a great AGP board from a reputable website that'll ship out in a decent amount of time? I'd like to have the board in my hands by this weekend if possible, and I don't want any more surprises. A solid board with a solid history of oc'ing and compatability. I'm even holding off returning the Xtreme Music XFI card until I test it on the new mobo just in case it actually works.
Any help is appreciated, and any comments, funny (either poking fun at me or agp or whatever) is completely welcomed. I don't take offense, and enjoy a good laugh (and could use a few!) Thanks again ~ Jofaba

ps: Here's a joke: type in "agp" in the TBF2 search box. Zilch. Nada. Bango. =P
