Can someone give a min. comp. requirement? So all we have to do is DL, install and then turn on Vsync? I am very interested cause I do get tearing but my comp. is not next-gen and I play BF fine as of now so I don't need any problems, but smoother gameplay/graphics would be sweet. I am still up in the air...

You can do this w/o any tweaker if u got nvidia card....



go to the display properties >Performance & Quality settings > click advanced from dropdown menu and enable triple buffering.

Using vsync in BF2 "might" give you a slightly more sluggish mouse. It's definetly improved over BF1942 where it was utter crap but you might notice it. It boils down to what is most important for you. I tested vsync 75Hz on my CRT and it was very smooth but affected mouse movement slightly.

The benefit of the CRT is that you can increase Hz and thereby reduce the tearing somewhat.

It has to do with the mouse handling in BF2, nothing to do with the monitor. If you don't notice it then it's not a problem for you.

I owe you one, this works perfectly. No more dodgy textures when looking at vertical things and still a reasenable FPS no 35 FPS.

Subscribing. Want to read more reviews. Last time I tried Vsync I got mouse lag.
