Will it POST? If not you need to remove all of the non-nessecary hardware (Harddrives, CD-ROM, Sound Card, Floppy). Once you get it to POST then re-attach the Harddrive, etc.

You didn't attach something properly thats why its coding out.

POST - Power On Self Test

Regardless of that, you connected something wrong. It is coding out for a reason, but we can't really help you as to why. Most likely the motherboard isn't getting enough power or a card is not full inserted something like that. Take all of the cables off of the board. Disconnect the harddrive, floppy, cd-rom, and sound card as they are not needed. Then try to start the PC. You will see what is called the POST screen where it will run some tests (usually tells you CPU stats, and check the RAM). You can re-assemble from there.

Clear the cmos yes. Also make sure the CPU is properly installed and that all power connectors on the motherboard have power to them. Sometimes boards will have an Auxilary 4-pin molex connector on them (simular to the harddrive, etc) and that needs to have power to it as well.

also there is a sort of code the most bios use, where they beep and it means somthing. ex. one shot beep could be that the processor isn't plugged in right, or sumthign like that, just google bios beep code or sumthign like that, sorry i can't give you more details about it, i only used it once. Also make sure ur ram is correctly seated, that screwed me up a bunch too.

This is what I did... Switch PSU main power to off. Moved the PC Speaker jumper to the ON position. Remove the battery. Move CMOS jumper to clear. Press ON on the case to drain capacitors.

With most you don't even need to power it on. The on-board batter will clear the CMOS if you just move the jumper to the clear cmos position and wait a few minutes. But move it back to the regular position and try and boot again.

Also did you check the DFI compatibility with the Giel Ram? I know DFI boards are extremely picky about the RAM they use.

                          same thing.

EDIT: it's G.Skill RAM. and yah it's compatible

I had the same prob when i built my rig. Turned out i put my ram into the 4th slot instead of the 1st, check if ur ram is in the right slot, if the CPU is 100% inside the socket etc.
