No, I believe you. Thats weird though. Only time I've heard of someone needing to Hardmod a MSI board. Usually you need to do that with something like a DFI Lanparty nF4 Ultra-D to make it a SLI-DR.

No, it's not a hardmod, it's a ghetto mod(well, not even a ghetto mod really). The msi board has a little card that you flip to enable or disable sli. It springs up really easily and has a crappy little retaining pin holding it down. My pin never really fit right, and it popped loose once when the pc was on, effictively killing it. I lost the extra pin, so I had to use what was available: a safeway twist tie.(Sorry bout the crappy pic, my camera sucks)

You can clearly see the tie holding down the edge of the card. It's kinda funny really.

I'm gonna go on the record and say the MSI K8 neo2 platinum 939 is the worst motherboard I've owned. DFI is the best I've owned.

No one should buy anything other than the MSI K8N Neo4 series anyways. There are better motherboards if going Socket 754.

Well right now I am playing with 768 RD RAM and it runs fine on low

Drop the floppy. You don't need one anymore. Save the money and take your girlfriend on a date. ;-)

its only 8 bucks, and I dont have a girlfriend :)

CD Drive. What are you smoking. Or better yet what ice age are you from. Get a cheap DVD or DVD/CD-RW or better take the money you would have wasted on a floppy or your girlfriend and get a DVD-RW/CD-RW.

I really dont need a dvd Drive cause I have another pc that has it and I dont even use it.

You are spending too much money on your case. Just make sure that the one you buy has a good 500W power supply.

I thought a 420W power suply would be enough?
game are starting to come out on dvd. i have bf2. battlefront2, and gta:sa dvd. i would hope that you take the money you are looking into putting into cd and get another dvd. you can get dvd/cd+rw real cheap. save some money using zipzoomfly.

I'll look into them, I have a question about ram would 256mb of ram make a differnce while playing bf2?(If I had 1 GB to begin with)
