Can't say I recommend it, Socket 754 is dieing and its a waste of money (and amazingly stupid) to build a Socket 754 Athlon 64 system now, but it'll fit.

You also WON'T be playing on all high. Medium settings, at MOST.

yea i was confused about the socket becuase I was told to get the 754 but It was kinda hard to find a good motherboard with a 754 socket

No, Socket 754 in general is no match for Socket 939. Theres no reason to go with Socket 754 is you're going with Athlon 64s though. Socket 754 is only good for budget systems (Semprons). There are also very good Socket 754 motherboard. But your isn't a budget system (I'm talking like $500 budgets). Whoever told you to go with Socket 754 is a dumb idiot.

That's definetley not possible, I have a better system than you and I sometimes lag with high, a 6600GT and 1GB of RAm will get Low/Med to Med AT MOST without lag.

Either you're lieing, confused, or you just have some kind of Miracle Machine

P.S. To BooM, just change your motherboard to a socket 939, your CPU is fine, just not with the motherboard you have currently selected.

Yea, change the motherboard to a socket 939.

You'll also need to change the CPU since the one you've chosen right now is Socket 754. Here, the Socket 939 version;

You could get a decent mobo for 939 at about 80-90 bucks. A 3200+ on newegg.com s939 is 152 bucks (the one that Flanker posted). If you want overclocking, go for the mobos Flanker listed, if you don't, go for a regular Nforce4 chipset. I think you could hit all high on 1024x768 with 2xaa and 8xaf on. BUt how much money could you really spend? I made my rig with just under 1000 bucks (but i exceeded it later by buying new case and mobo). My setup at the time that it was like 980 bucks was this:
Mobo: MSI K8n Neo4
CPU: 3200+s939
Memory: Corsair Value Select 1GB
SOUnd Card: integrated
Vid Card: X800XL PCI-e
HD: SEagate Barracuda SATA 250gb
Case: POWMAX matrix case (never buy from POWMAX for cases, they're very flimsy)
PSU: ANtec Smart Power 2.0 500W
The rest is all ussed stuff from old comp. THat was a good setup, considering it ran BF2 on all high and highest res, aa, and af. Only changes are way better case (check in sig) and a new DFI Lanparty UT Ultra-D mobo.

You'll get to high (anyone can set their gfx to max), but the FPS won't be that high.

I cant spend anymore money I am at my limit (about $700) already. But I plan on upgrading to 3GB and and a better vid card later

Windows doesn't support 3 GB, go with 2GB max, its more than enough.
