2006 poinst for me...

I first wondered why did 6800GT get some much points more than ATI >X1XXXX series cards. Even 6800GT gets more that 2500 points when we X850XT or X850XTPE users get just over 2000.

But the reason is that our cards can't run the SM3 test so the points from that test aren't added into the total score? So that's why we non-SM3 users get lower points?

Does this program assess only your hardware's capabilities or does it take into acount your system optimization (ie operating system tweaks, defragged hard drive, etc.)?

I like the Everest benchmark utility.

The memory tweaks gave me some really great boosts. In bf2 the fps never drops under 110-260 with the game.lockfps 300 , renderer.drawfps 1.

I got a 3756... I was all proud of my 8033 in 3dmark05... DOH! My 64bit 2.6ghz AMD processor only got a 983 and average FPS in CPU test 2 was .5

Just overclocked my video card a bit and got 3831

I guess its conclusive that the CPU tests love a larger L2 cache or dual core CPU's.

22% down dling as I type, i will post my score because I am interested in comparing with my 2 7800 GT's because I got really low score on 05 with my 2 7800 GT's (7400)that sucks

you must have prob's some where then cause i got higher score than that with just one 7800gtx
