I got a score of 1323 on the free version.

My specs are:
Celeron 2.6Ghz
768mb ddr333 pc2700 ram
Radeon 9600XT 256mb

Should I be getting more than this?
It runs at around 5-10 FPS 1st time round and then 0-1 FPS 2nd time round?

Yeah that sounds about right, it's the Celeron and the PC2700 ram that's probably holding you back.

Well I got through that whole bios update after sweating a few buckets. Whew...

Got it up to 2324. Yuck.

Switched over to the X850 Pro that I thought I was upgrading from and my score is 5149. Problem is, I can't run MOHAA with the x850 Pro and I still do play that occassionaly. Or would like to anyways.

My next project, after returning my 6800gt and getting my $380 back, will be to flash my x850 and turn it into a XTPE...I read that you could do that.

Well I still haven't flashed my X850 Pro to turn it into an XT, but I did just upgrade drivers to 5.13 Catalyst CC. Just ran 3dMark and noticed a substantial increase in the score.

New Score is 5267.

Now to check and see if I'm still getting those nasty ghost effects in BF2 Night Vision. Oh yeah, and Medal Of Honor started working with the 5.12 CCC. I just never really play it anymore.

Your score suggests your system isn't running at optimum. My previous components; an Athlon 2500+, 1GB PC3200 and a 6600GT 128 benchmarked over 3500. A little tweaking may get you some extra power whilst you're awaiting the arrival of those new bits..

New bits just scored 11000

Old bits now given to girlfriend for her pc.

I benchmarked her AMD sempron 2.4 with 512 and FX 5500 and live card it got 1100.

MY laptop got 300 LOL 1.4 centrino and mobile 5200

After using the latest drivers for nforce 4 and the nvidia card 81 something installed originally install 78. I got 11023. I know my card is pre overclocked by XFX, but a single 512 XFX 7800 GTX is almost as fast as a dual GTX 256!!!!!!!! I do have a Xfi card, but that should NOT affect the score in 3d mark. I'm using the free version and over clocking on the CPU is the Auto AI setting in the bios. So I am now really impressed with the 512 GTX.

Would be intresting to see what an SLI XFX 7800 GTX 512 twin pack would score I guess about 14000 - 16000, and the new 06 3D mark will take into account x2 chips better as well.

From what we have seen in this thread it seems a AMD 3500 64 and a 7800 GTX almost gaurentees "everything on in BF2" and almost lag free. I'm now really unimpressed with the 6800 I bought in JULY. The ASUS 6800 GT V9999 SUCKS, If you are upgrading avoid the 6800's go for a 7800 GTX. I also REALLY recommend XFX cards. Nice manual free games and hassle free install and a good drivers disk that points you in the right direction. Although ASUS motherboards with Nforce seem very good and are a hassle free install.

If you live in the UK argos are now offering a 30" LCD, from bush that runs at 1280. A nice monitor upgrade for £499!!!!!
