My mistake, ammendment to above, recently purchased 2GB Dual Channel kit of Corsair 3200 but yet to run 3d Mark 05 with it.

Is your 6800 a 128mb? Thats a 1200 point difference between my PC and yours and the only difference is the GFX card and the CPU.

That seems kinda low... Have you installed all the device drivers from your Mobo CD? You have about the same as me except the GPU is much better... weird.

Hmm that's strange

I'm no 3DMark wiz, in fact today was the first time I used it! So I wouldn't know much about scores, what to expect etc.

I've installed all the mobo drivers, yes, and the most recent nVidia drivers aswell.

EDIT: Will an older soundcard decrease the score? I had my stereo turned off while running 3DMark, so I don't know if the videos/renders are playing with sound? That could explain the "bad" score though, seeing as I've got an ooold Audigy LS (X-Fi Fatal1ty arriving tomorrow or Monday ).
I'll run a new test with the new X-Fi and let you guys know the results.

Not too bad for an old system like this. I'm not 100% sure if the CPU and RAM really overclocked during that test, because I've got it set on "Dynamic Overclocking" in the bios, so that it only OCs while I'm gaming, or when I need the power. It probably did though, given how rigerous the testing was.

No PCI-e 6800s can be unlocked. Only the AGP can be.
