Re: whats your 3d mark 05 score?

I got 4318, is that good or bad on my setup?

I have only 350W Power supply and I feel like, that I should get a better PSU, but I also need a new display, so could you just advice me which way to go, PSU or Display? Of course the display ain't gonna increase my benchmark score in any way. I'm also going for another 6600GT on SLi, so eventually I will have to get the new PSU.. And I can also overclock my CPU only to 2,2GHz and I think that I could achieve 2,8GHz with a new PSU. The problem I have with overclocking the CPU is that if I raise my FSB over 220MHz the CPU clock speed will start to lower instead of going upwards.

          Any help would be appreciated.

edit. Sorry for the sloppy spelling, I'm just a bit tired.

Thats not too bad, Get another 6600GT for that Sli motherboard though, the other slots feeling kinda lonely imo

              OR

Get dual 7800GTXs, then your score will probably Tripple if not Quadrupal

Definitely get a new PSU before ANYTHING else. At least 500W if you're going to go SLI later. OCZ Modstream and PC Power & Cooling are great ones.

Yes, I'm going to buy 500W Nexus PSU, I now have the Nexus 350W. I'll stick to the Nexus because I have a Nexus Breeze Case and I wan't to keep the cooling effective.

I thought of that too, but first I'll go with dual 6600GT's.

Nice. If you have two cards does it double the performance IE 1 card = 6000, 2 cards = 12,000 ?

Hmm I don't think it completely doubles your score but it's about a 30-40% boost, so almost double. But as far as game performance, sometimes you get huge boosts, sometimes you don't get much of a boost. Either way if you play at high resolutions with AA/AF, SLi will make a big difference.

Generally a single 7800GTX gets anywhere from 8000-9000 depending on the CPU, overclocking, etc., and dual 7800GTX's get 11000-12000 or more.
