Unless u play at ridicolously high resolutions why would you want 2?

Just get one, and in 1-2 years buy another.

Because you can be spending it on other things like a new processor or new memory

I have gotten enough in 2 months...yes...2 months...to buy a new case, new processor, new motherboard, and new graphics card. That is just from mowing a couple of lawns every week. So when you guys are all sitting there wondering how we do it, we are out there working...

ZONER listen, you dont need to spend it on an 7800.

If you have the money buy water cooling and a redicolously good monitor.

                    I have:

                    P4 1.8 Ghz
                    768mb PC 2700
                    9800PRO 128mb

And I run BF2 fine, no lag. Why waste your money on a super computer or the best video card just to play this game. I run my settings on Low, but honestly, there isnt much difference. Sure the lighting is better. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

i got a 3400+ 6800 GT 1gb kingston hyper-x ram 2 80gb hard drives.. put it together and paid like 1400 about 10 months ago.. i started saving up for a new one last month, im gonna wait till the next gen comes out. But ya.. i havta pay for college and my job workin at KFC doesnt really make it easy to save up for both things.. instead of you people buying a new uber computer every time a new graphics card comes out, why dont you skip 1 generation, cause its not gonna matter 1 bit performance wise, and put all your cash that you would have wasted on a computer and put it in a mutual fund or something... unless your filthy rich.. then do w/e.

but ya most people on here are bsin i think

Well I see a lot of posts here doubting peoples claims of having the hardware they own. Here's proof of mine:

I'm a 28 yr old molecular biologist and business owner so I can afford to buy my own toys.

Looks like everyone in this forum has recomended the 7800 in the 'PC Advice' topic. I'll probably end up getting one...
