I would expect less, since the info Windows shows you is how fast you are downloading data, while the ISP and speedtest measures total traffic which includes headers and other overhead.
My own experience says 1Mbit line = 100 kB / s data and 2Mbit = 200 kB / s data.
So I would expect you to see 2,5 MB / s data with a 25Mbit line.Comment

yeah. bites and bytes or whatever, ain't the same.
i get like 4 - 5 mb/s. funny thing to think about, is that i asked if we could order that 100mb line (fiber, you get that in oslo nowdays), unfortanly its only in oslo, i live just outside. anyway, i said "100 mb! thats damn much!", little did i know he is an electrishwhatever-its-called, he puts up cables here and there, he has laid i think it was 10gb, aka. 10 000mb! :O for a company or a whole, i dont i know really. just wanted to share that with you. a damn 10 gb line! think about that!! call me a bloody bragger and a f'ing idiot, thats what he said, i dont give a s what you might think. :PComment
