Even though XP was supposedly thrown another lifeline extending it's licensing deadline to July 31st of 2009, I really don't see it going anywhere, even if Win7 takes off after launch due to it's popularity with NETBOOK makers. Netbooks are all the rage and are probably part of the reason why laptops outsold desktops for the first time in history this past holiday season.
If netbooks can run Quake Live....whenever it goes live lol, then you can sure as heck bet that more olde games like CS 1.6 get the online treatment thus slowing down overall transitions from XP to other operating systems.
Does anyone here have a netbook and have they tried any type of flash based game that is graphics intensive?
