Does COD4 require an account and username to login with like BF2 and BF2142? If so, don't you think they banned your username, so changing your IP or even CD key wouldn't help at all.

So instead you rang up, paid $10 and changed your IP?
Surely it would have been easier just to get a new email.

Anyhow, it appears to be server specific rather than PB so count yourself lucky, tottherwise you would have problems.

This wasn't the only reason i changed my IP but im not going to discuss that here.

I would "count myself lucky" if i had actually done something wrong.

You can use whatever username you want, there is no specific login required u just give urself a name and jump in, all ur game achivements and status is saved in a file on ur pc unlike BF2.

You know, you prolly could have made a post and been unbanned within under 20 mins...

Your GUID is based off of your CD KEY ONLY! If you buy a new game, you can get into the server...

You are not hardwared banned. Best place is to just get on the forum and post.

Yeah ill get an email account and do one of those ban dispute forms they have.. Theres no way in the world im going to buy a new copy of the game just to play on a server.

You can just purchase a new CD key on eBay for like $5-$10.

Buying used CDkeys online comes with its own risk, they could be pre-banned :p

Consider this: It seems that you were banned manually by an admin. What do you think will happen if you get a new key, and they recognize you as someone they just banned?
At that stage you will probably have lost all chance of winning an appeal.

I found new unused ones on eBay. I'm just saying that could be one of his option if they don't unban him when he asks them.

Trust me on this, I've worked for one of these "companies" they are all stolen through the use of virus's and phishes.
