who'd have though crysis would be playable at 1280*768 on a WS monitor,

not sure if you have done this already but ive heard if you add this line it helps boost crossfire performance

      Look in -
      C: Documents -> My Games -> Crysis -> game

"You have to create a system.cfg in the crysis root folder and put r_MutliGPU = 1 on this file."

worth a try perhaps,as ive heard it doesn't detect crossfire/sli properly but by forcing it you can achieve better results.

      dx10 veryhigh settings btw.

could even help in xp but not sure

still at 1280*768, soz it took a while had a little cod4 scrim to brush up on, more mixed results , i did try the leaked 8.1 Catalyst drivers for Vista but i got BSoD's so i will have to wait for the official release.

hmm interesting results SCINTO ,drivers seem bad for vista atm.

no increase with crossfire ,appears its not working at all with the drivers.

perhaps the beta haven't been modifiyed for crossfire just yet.

i would imagine that ati will get the issue fixed as the 3870x2 is just around the corner.

anyways keep the results coming ,always interesting to see.

bonus is the 3870 seems to take little to no performance hit with AA witch looks promising.

if the new fixed drivers can put out 40fps on Vhigh i will be impressed.

any chance you could do a xp run on high/modded vhigh

if you duel boot that is :)

Unless you're referring to anything i can't see in that picture, the cooling unit you can see is not copper

                      but it is

you can see under the sliver msi bracket that there is a copper heat sink that runs of 2 copper pipes.

great cooling solution by the look of it.

what card is that btw 3850/70?

It's an 8600gt 512mb, and the cooling unit is huge and it barely fits because it's about 1cm away from my memory. I'll take a pic of the one that's actually in my computer.

You are joking and being sarcastic right?

Eitherways, Verzelli, I don't think thats an ATi.

                            Oh, KillerStickMan already said so...

                            Makes me.. kinda late.

The red pcb is commonly associated with ati as well.
