I could do with doing that on my calculator... although it's one of the best ones that Casio make, and it's questionable whether it's allowed in AS-level exams (So I have a second, legal one!) I've sometimes fed some very complicated formulae into it that have locked it up for thirty seconds or more. I mean, I only had it doing a sigma funtion for 1 to 1000.This page shows you how to overclock the following calculators:

Then again, it served me well at today's national Pop Maths Quiz in Sheffield. Second in the Y10-11 category with a team of two against teams of six.

Since i have 4 weeks off to do nowt at home, and the parents are at work, i am going to fit my Intel heatsink to my calculator. Maybe i'll solder it if i can be arsed, maybe i'll tape it.
I tied a 120mm fan to my brothers passive cooling graphics card with string, and it took temps down from 50c, to 26c.
So, yeah, that'll be a fun waste of time.Comment
