The series get's even better around Episode 6/7. It's definitely the best TV show I've seen since Band Of Brothers (Yes, I didn't enjoy The Pacific that much).Comment

Homefront MP demo is available on Steam. I played about two hours and I can understand why they shut down the studio.
It feels like ET:QW and there is pretty much no damage on anything. You may see some bullet damage or fire for a few seconds and then its gone. Movement is very slow and blocky.
I have to say the maps are nice. Good layout. The weapons look good and are accurate. Overall gameplay is not that great.

Fun story about Homefront. When it came out, I had maybe a 1 in 50 chance of getting in a MP game. The server browser constantly bounced me back to the browser after attempting to connect or just not giving me any notice at all.
Long story short, I ended up being in direct correspondence with someone at THQ in a ton of back and forth messages. It got to the point it was pushed to Digital Extemes and I also pulled in someone from Tripwire Interactive after I described my issues to him and he said it might have to do with the Steamworks and UE3 integration that, at the time, had a faulty build out there.
This was months ago. My contact at TWI didn't hear back from THQ after contacting them. I haven't heard any update either. I also haven't attempted to play the game since then. For all I know, it could be resolved. What I did play, I enjoyed. I just couldn't play it.Comment
