Only Lost Prophet's first album could be considered numetal, they're pretty alt-rock now. Don't get me wrong... I used to love these bands haha, they hold sentimental value.

I just think its funny when kids are like :rock::rock::rock: Slipknot!11 Korn!1! Soo hardcore mann.

When it's really just a bunch of guys with big amps, playing drop D power chords, and a ton of distortion...

No, that's the majority view. Their albums are getting more and more U2 styled, Bono ********. It's annoying, but has great sentimental value, almost to the point of emo.

But some of their songs, still hold the values of their original, like Bleed It Out, No More Sorrow and QWERTY/A.06:

A bunch of Yngwie Malmsteen/Jason Becker wannabes running around playing Phrygian Dominant guitar runs over chromatic chord progressions, and proclaiming that their music is superior to everyone else's because their guitarist can sweep pick and because they syncopate everything?

If given a choice between the two, I think I'd rather listen to Slipknot.
