That list is biased. The rich old people that conjure that list up have no idea what LSU is about. It's not just drinking and being drunk and drunken rampages. Plus, we have been rising for several years in a row.

And our football team is usually really good, but isn't quite as excellent this year. We dropped from #4 to #10 after losing to Florida (#1), and that is probably about where we should be. (BUT NOT WITH THE SAME TEAMS SURROUNDING US).

Basketball is historically good, nothing to write home about recently. We won the Baseball National Championship last year and the Football National Championship two years ago.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter how good of a school you go to, to a certain extent. It matters what you do as an individual while there. :)

Although, the rankings usually are done by acceptance rates, average graduation rate, etc, not just opinions of old men. That said, all private school s rank much higher on every list. Sometimes deserved, but really it depends on what department you're studying in. UW has an excellent Classics department, probably the best west of Northwestern, (that's my primary major) and they have a stellar medical school. The music department, on the other hand, is EXTREMELY sh!tty. I'm signed up as a clarinet performance major too, right now, but am dropping because it would take me an extra year to complete the music major and is a complete waste of my time. :shakehead:

Yeah. I'm planning on graduating in four years with two majors, at least three minors, college honors, sophomore honors, distinguished communicator, service learner, and a pile of university recommendation letters. I have the opportunity to study abroad (pretty much anywhere), but I would want to go to the mythical land that speaks English and has good food.

And that makes the list biased how? Just because LSU is a good school doesn't mean there aren't better schools out there.

Yeah. The UW has an entire center built in the middle of Rome (built on the Theatre of Pompey, where Julius Caesar was assassinated). I'm gonna be studying there during spring quarter. :yay:

I USED to like them when I was 10, (Because my older brother was a fan), Now, since everyone else likes them I find them childish. Its prog rock/metal for me, no one touches that stuff round here. I like having different musical taste to all the other kiddies, Its because they dont freaking shut up about liking them, suddenly they think they are brutal and then go off how much more of a fan they are compared to you even though you heard of them first.

Though special mention for no adequate reason, on that same page Alex mentioned Coheed and cambria, who I have recently got into, and Faith no More who I am seeing next year :wee: /Latefag
