all the Stalker games are worth playing

but dont play them in chronological order (in terms of game universe

play SoC first, then Clear Sky and then CoP

Clear Sky improved on some stuff but went back in other areas

SoC is just a classic and the good thing about CoP is it takes the best things from both games and puts them together

not to mention the brilliant mods you can get
