Want some advice... DONT BUY FROM THEM. Since i bought mine 2 years ago it has died twice. The first time the MOBO was bad and they knew about it, a friend of mine bought a system from them 2 years before me and had the same issue. If you have to call tech support make sure you have a lot of time to wait and some good patience. ALso it helps to be able to decipher your tech agent. All their tech support is outsourced... probably india. They have no clue what they're doing there. Tech support gets an F-. Also the company is owned by Dell (which makes it crap in a pretty box) now but maintains control of iteself.

Shoulda bought a Voodoo or Falcon Northwest, or just built one of your own. I bought from them because i got the MJ12 7700m Mobile Desktop. Otherwise i build all my own systems.

Yeah. The reaction is a bit over the top, but if you want to hop on a forum and skite about your new uber PC which you didn't even build yourself you deserve whats coming to ya.

IF he does'nt know how to build one on his own or know anybody then i can see. But building your own will always be better. I remember by bro getting a alienware and we benched marked against each other and i spanked him by 4500 points. He was so mad that he returned the system and i built him one.

Sorry if I have to tell you this, but I may be buying a Alienware PC next year. Like for 512MB DX10 and an AM2 CPU.

                    Anyway nice PC.

Since when did my threads become w*nker magnets? Alot of jealous people in here... And to those of you who are so worried about me spending to much money: money is not a problem to me so you don't need to worry.
I don't know sh*t about computers so i can't (and don't have time to) build it myself. But thanks for your help to everyone who actually helped.

Wait wait wait, You come on here asking for tips (basically to avoid the blatant "hey guys, be jealous of me" spiel) about your shiney new Alienware PC. Don't get upset when people tell you the obvious that you overpaid and are going to get shafted on Tech support.

By the way, I learned how to build my first PC on my own after ABS's tech support never sent on-site service. I just took my old hardware out and put in the new stuff with a little help from online tutorials (thermal paste application, CPU install, Bios codes, etc.). Its easier than changing the oil in your car (helps when you can rebuilt engines too :p ), and its a hell of a lot cheaper (if you can afford it and money is not an issue then you could have gotten an SLI rig and gotten better hardware all around). Sure you don't get tech support and a warranty, but the internet can answer more questions than any Paki or Indian script reader will be capable of and Newegg or Monarch's replacement plans are easier to deal with than any internet Complete system retailer.

PS: Don't complain about me making your choice seem lazy/foolish, you asked for it, literally, in your thread title. If you want the criticism to stop delete the thread or amend your first post.
