The Fortnite island has been turned into one giant party and everyone is invited.

On Saturday, June 4, the end of Chapter 3 Season 2 for Fortnite came with a giant mech, a lot of explosions, a truck driving banana, and a peek at Darth Vader. Today, Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 kicked off and with it came an island-wide party. This season is called "Vibin'" and it includes the ability to ride the wildlife, a rollercoaster, new weapons, a new Battle Pass, and more.

A new biome appeared on the island for this chapter. Reality Falls is a biome full of bouncy mushrooms, purple trees, geysers, and a concealed loot cavern. Reality Falls includes a giant Reality Tree that can give you Reality Seeds. You can plant these seeds and a sapling will grow in the place you planted it, even between matches. Every time you weed your sapling, they will grant you better loot all the way up to Mythic loot.

Ballers return to Fortnite but this time they can be used on the new Screwballer amusement park ride. It seems you can still take these mobile spheres off track though because Epic says they have boosted health, the ability to float on water, and now runs on battery.

Also new in Chapter 3 Season 3 is the ability to ride wolves and boars. You can even shoot while on these mounts. There is also now the Two-Shot Shotgun, which is a two-burst pump shotgun. The Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) is also now in Fortnite. Finally, the Hammer Assault Rifle was added. This is a fast-firing weapon with a "unique" recoil.

Epic Games also added in a new game mechanic called Storm Sickness. Storm Sickness will accumulate the longer you stay in a Storm each match. Eventually, this accumulation gets to a point where you get proper Storm Sickness which is an "ailment that accelerates the Storm's decay of your health." I assume this is a way to perhaps combat those players that used to camp inside the Storm while out healing the damage with medical supplies.

The new Chapter includes a new Battle Pass. Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass includes Darth Vader, Indiana Jones, and many more cosmetic items. There is also a new unlockable character named Snap. There will be more items to unlock to mix and match on Snap as you work your way through the season.
