It has been four years since God of War was released on the PlayStation 4. Since then, the game has been updated, given a nice PlayStation 5 update, and even found its way to the PC. It's a fantastic game, without a doubt, but one question still remains: Where is God of War Ragnarok?

God of War director and producer on Ragnarok, Cory Barlog, offered a little thanks to the fans and provided just the smallest of updates on the status of Ragnarok.

Barlog says that there is "so much going on" right now in regard to development on God of War Ragnarok. However, they just aren't ready to share it yet. He does say that the second they have something ready to share, they will share it with the world.

God of War Ragnarok is currently slated to be released at some point this year, but maybe don't get your hopes up just yet. Ragnarok was originally slated to release in 2021 but was pushed into 2022. We did get a new trailer in September 2021, but not much has been shown (if anything) since then. 2018's God of War also saw its fair share of delays prior to release.

For those who did not understand his "tighten up the graphics" quip, let me educate you quickly on this blast from the past.
