Just doing a quick recap post for now of all the trailers that were shown off during the rather meaty Xbox Games Showcase that aired today. I'll have longer write-ups about some of the games either later today or this week. ...

So many gaming shows. Just... so very many.

All trailers will be properly labeled so fans know what they're seeing.

The head of Xbox marketing Aaron Greenberg said on Twitter that there will be no full CG trailers shown off during the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase. Greenberg states that none of the first-party games in the show are full CG trailers and that everything will be either in-game footage, in-engine footage, or a blend of in-game footage with some cinematics.

Microsoft just announced that there will be an Xbox Games Showcase streamed live on June 11 at 10AM (PT). The Xbox Wire announcement suggests we will see a blend of both first-party and third-party titles that are coming to Xbox platforms in the months and possibly years ahead.

Oh look at that, it's E3 time once again.

Microsoft just confirmed today that they will hold an Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase livestream on Sunday, June 13 at 10AM (PT). This show will be focused on games from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and "many game creators from partners around the world."

This show is scheduled to run for 90 minutes. Fans will be able to watch on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. Pour one out for Mixer.

A new part of the Summer Game Fest.

Xbox announced today that they will host another entry in Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest. I do not know how many other entries there have been thus in the Summer Game Fest because honestly, who actually cares. If you do care, then perhaps you will be interested in the Xbox Games Showcase pre-show that begins at 8AM.
