in NewsTotal Gaming Network Now on OpenCritic
Recently, OpenCritic kicked off their new Contributor Program. In short, it's a way for OpenCritic to bring to light a plethora of reviews from sites that aren't quite as big and all reaching as the IGNs and GameSpots of the world. It's a great way for sites like Total Gaming Network to get our reviews out there to perhaps help a larger audience make an informed decision on whether or not a game is worth spending money on. To be very clear, the scores of those enrolled in the Contrib... -

in NewsNo Man's Sky is a Massive Disappointment
About as deep and as entertaining as a puddle.
I did something a bit different with my "Week in Review" this week for No Man's Sky. Instead of just writing up a few sentences about why I think the game is a massive disappointment, I decided to share my unedited rant/thoughts about the game. I recorded this last night as part of my Twitch stream of World of Warcraft. Why was I playing WoW and not No Man's Sky while talking about No Man's Sky? Well, it's simply because No Man's... -

in NewsWeek in Review: Layers of Fear: Inheritance and ABZU (July 31-August 6, 2016)
It's been one hell of a week both in terms of games played and just due to life in general. It really hit its stride when my computer decided to download the Windows 10 'Anniversary Update' (AU), the latest and greatest update to what has largely been a very nice operating system. Sadly, the update completely broke my computer in that it would freeze up roughly 30 seconds after logging in. Clicks didn't work, the Task Manager didn't work, CTRL+ALT+DEL didn't work. Nothing worked. It seems like I... -

in NewsPokemon Go Team Leaders Revealed and Quick Review
Earlier today, the Team Leaders were revealed for Pokemon Go. Before, as with the Pokemon themselves, the Leaders were known only by their silhouettes. Let's take a look at the two awesome female Leaders and a guy that mains Reaper in Overwatch.
I also realized that I forgot to include a review in last weekend's "Week in Review" here. Let me fix that right now.

in NewsWeek in Review: INSIDE, Necropolis, and Battlefield 1 Alpha (July 10-16, 2016)
This week in review will be a quick and dirty one, just like you like it. I'll be taking a quick trip through INSIDE, Necropolis, and offering my thoughts on the Battlefield 1 alpha as it comes to a close.
INSIDE
INSIDE is the latest game from Limbo developers, Playdead. Playdead played to their strengths in Inside, offering compelling gameplay, puzzles, a visually outstanding experience, and truly impressive audio. True to their Limbo roots, the story in Inside is... -

in NewsMonth in Review May 2016 - Dark Souls 3, Overwatch, Battleborn, Uncharted 4, and Doom
Welcome back one and all to another installment of the not quite regular "Week in Review" feature here at Total Gaming Network. Thisweekmonth we have a couple of big game reviews for you to feast your eyes upon. The first is for none other than Dark Souls III, or Dark Souls 3 as I will probably type it out for the rest of this post. After that we have Battleborn, or Battleborn as I will type it out for the rest of this post. That's not even mentioning DOOM, Uncharted 4, and Overwatch! ... -

in NewsWeek in Review: Catching Up with Fallout 4 DLC, The Division, and Forced Showdown (All of April 2016)
It's certainly been quite some time since we last had one of these Weeks in Review, yeah? Sorry about that, but you know at least one of the reasons already. With that out of the way, it should be noted that there have been a number of games that I played in the past few weeks.
Some of these reviews will be a bit shorter than previous entries just so I don't exhaust myself with all of the reviews I think I have to write. Keep in mind that I'm not actually sure how many games are going to end up below, so anything I just said might end up being a load of crap.... -
