Vicarious Visions is Now Officially Blizzard Albany

At least they aren't a Call of Duty studio?

Vicarious Visions is now officially merged into Blizzard, becoming Blizzard Albany. The studio's recent output includes Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 as well as the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Blizzard Albany will now exclusively work on Blizzard games.

Vicarious Visions was first founded back in 1991. Their first game, Synnergist, came out in 1996 for MS-DOS. The studio was mainly known for handling handheld ports of several...

    Review: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2

    Feeling younger in my mind.

When you think of the heyday of Tony Hawk titles, you probably think back to the games prior to weird skateboard controllers and the abysmal Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5. You think back to a time in your childhood when you would turn on your old CRT television, power on the PlayStation, and digitally pull off some sick tricks while Goldfinger's Superman blasted in the background. The first couple of Tony Hawk games hold a special place in a lot of our hearts...

Remastered Release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 and 2 Announced

Tony Hawk is getting remastered... again.

It has happened once before already and it will more than likely happen again in the future. However, in the here and now, it's happening for the second time. If you correctly guessed that the first two Tony Hawk games were getting remastered yet again, you are either a genius or you read the headline.

Back in 2012, we reviewed the first attempt at a remaster for the first few Tony Hawk titles. It was called Tony Hawk's Pro Skater...

Rumor: Spyro Trilogy Remaster Coming in 2018

A new rumor ignited by Kotaku and "multiple sources familiar with the project" say that Activision is working on a Spyro the Dragon Trilogy Remaster. You know, kind of like what they did with the stellar Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy? The rumor continues on to suggest that there will be an announcement made in March 2018 with a planned release for the third quarter of this year, presumably in September to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the first game's initial release date. Th...

Crash Bandicoot is the Biggest Single-Format Release this Year

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy surpassed Horizon Zero Dawn as the best single-format boxed release in the UK. Even more impressive here is the fact that Crash Bandicoot was surpassed in first week sales only by Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

In the UK, boxed game sales are up 93% week-over-week, for a total of 331,000 games sold.
There is a lot of speculation, though nothing confirmed yet by Activision, that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will see a ...
