  • CD Projekt Red Explains Their Decision to Use Unreal Ending 5 for The Witcher 4

    A big reason was stability.

During today's "State of Unreal" stream, CD Projekt Red had a moment to explain just why they have decided to use Unreal Engine 5 for their upcoming Witcher sequel. The decision was made a while back to develop this sequel, be it called The Witcher 4 or something else, using Unreal Engine 5 instead of their in-house REDengine 4. I bet you didn't see this move coming, but if you are a betting man (or woman) be sure to check out casino online....

The Witcher is Getting Kid-Focused Netflix Series

How exactly is that going to work?

Tudum was a recent event hosted by Netflix that was some global fan event thingy. I don't really know, nor do I care. The important takeaway from this event, at least as far as this site is concerned, is the fact that we have some new news concerning The Witcher series, or should I say serieses? I shouldn't, because that's not a word.

During this Tudum event, Netflix showed off a little bit of the second season for The Witcher series,...

Video Games We Want to See Turned into Slot Games

Slots game developers like to draw from different aspects of life when creating new games. One of the more recent genres to be included in the production of online slots is video games. We have already witnessed the introduction of some excellent video game based slot games, including Resident Evil, Hitman, Space Invaders, Lara Croft: Temples and Tombs, Street Fighter, and Call of Duty. However, there are plenty of hugely popular video games that are yet to be granted the slot game treatment...

4 Years After Release, The Witcher 3 Hits a New All-Time Player Peak

One of the best action-RPGs of all time is seeing a big resurgence.

In the four years following its release, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt never saw player counts as high as they have been in the past week. Since the release of The Witcher series on Netflix, there seems to have been a big resurgence in a general interest in the franchise.

Though the Netflix series has gotten some rather mixed reviews from critics (59%), the audience seems to love it to the tune of a 93% score...

    Review: GreedFall (PC)

    A long and thrilling journey.

GreedFall is a game that filled a gaping void I did not know I had for a new action-RPG experience. Though it lacks some of the polish you would expect from a major game release these days, the game still rewards the player with fun and varied combat, complex story beats, and an overall experience that should make even the veterans at BioWare sit up and take notice. For those of you that have been on the fence about picking up GreedFall, you would be doing...
