Custom maps are now easily accessible in Counter-Strike 2.

Slowly but surely, Counter-Strike 2 is being improved. The latest update for the game added in Steam Workshop support for custom maps. This will allow map makers to upload their maps to the Workshop. Community servers can also host these maps on their servers. Players can also optionally play these custom maps offline by subscribing to them and heading to the Play menu.

Steam Workshop Items Need Approval from Valve

But only for first-party titles from Valve.

You may have already seen that news going around that items on the Steam Workshop must now be approved by Valve before they will appear for the public. This seems to include anything that you may typically find on the Steam Workshop, including custom maps, models, skins, sounds, and the like. This first showed up via a Reddit post on the Global Offensive subreddit.

However, this approval process is not for every Workshop enabled...

Now Available: Battlezone 2 Gets Remastered as Battlezone: Combat Commander

Rebellion and developer Big Boat Interactive just released a new RTS/FPS hybrid game Battlezone: Combat Commander today through both Steam and GOG.com.

Now, I'm calling it a "new" game but in reality it's actually a remaster of the classic Battlezone 2, which came out back in 1999 from Pandemic Studios. Oh Pandemic, I miss you dearly. This remaster includes some 4K resolution support, DirectX 11 shading and rendering, high resolution textures, and more. Perhaps best of all...
