    Yakuza: Like a Dragon is an Xbox Series X Launch Title

    A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

    Earlier today during the special Inside Xbox event from Microsoft, Sega revealed that Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be a launch title for the next-gen Xbox Series X. Sega then outdid themselves by also announcing that this is the same date that Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be released on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and on PC via both Steam and the Windows Store.

    EA's Free Next-Gen Upgrade Comes with a Catch

    You were so close, EA. So close.

    On May 6, word came out that EA was planning to have a free next-gen upgrade program. Though unstated by the company, it was flatley assumed that this program would follow what companies like Microsoft and CD Projekt Red were planning. That is to say: They would allow fans to purchase a current-gen version of a game and then get a free upgrade to the next-gen version for free without any sort of a catch.

    As promised yesterday, Ubisoft did indeed reveal plenty of details for their next Assassin's Creed title today. It's called Assassin's Creed Valhalla and it is in development for the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and Stadia.
