It's not difficult: Skateboard + Bird = SkateBIRD.

The Glass Bottom Games team just released SkateBIRD to the world for those on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, Amazon Luna, and PC via Steam and Itch.io. For those of you who don't really know what this game is, it's pretty simple: You're a skateboarding bird. That's pretty much it.

You skate around mini-skateparks made out of everyday objects. You pull off tricks, link tricks together, pull...

It's not much of one, but it is still delayed nonetheless.

Back in June, we shared the news that SkateBIRD was slated to be released on August 12. Sadly, that release date has been pushed back ever so slightly. The new release date is now September 16. So yeah, it's not a big delay but it's one that I felt was worth sharing if you were looking forward to being a skateboarding bird.

It seems as though a little rumor of Tony Hawk's return to the gaming world resurfaced today. Technically, the rumor was given a fair bit of confirmation back in October but nobody really noticed until today. Back in October, professional skateboarder Lizzie Armanto casually mentioned that Tony Hawk was working on a new game.

A new gameplay video for the upcoming skateboarding game, Session, was released today. Developer crea-ture Studios released this new video that shows off some of the free-flowing nature of the game. Just like another popular skateboarding franchise, this game utilizes the analog sticks on controllers to control each foot.

Devolver Digital and developer DeadToast Entertainment are proud to announce that their over the top, martial arts filled, skateboarding, talking banana, action game called My Friend Pedro is now available.
