    EA Just Brought Back a Bunch of Classic Titles to Steam

    Plus, all of these games are on sale right now.

    For some reason that the world is not aware of, Electronic Arts has decided to bring some of their older titles to Steam this past week. We're talking about games like SimCity 3000, the original Command & Conquer titles, the Populous franchise, and more. EA even brought back The Saboteur to Steam after it was delisted from the platform back in 2015.

    EA Shuts Down Maxis

    EA has shut down Maxis Emeryville, which is the main Maxis studio and the same studio that created the SimCity and Sims franchises. A representative from EA gave an explanation of what is going on.
    Today we are consolidating Maxis IP development to our studios in Redwood Shores, Salt Lake City, Helsinki and Melbourne locations as we close our Emeryville location. Maxis continues to support and develop new experiences for current Sims and SimCity players, while expanding our franchises
