    Destiny 2's Season Ending Live Event was Incredibly Disappointing

    You had to be there.

    As of 2:31PM (ET) on Saturday, June 6, the current season of Destiny 2 effectively came to an end. Season of the Worthy wrapped up much the same way as the rest of the Season left its fans: Not with thunderous applause, but with shrugs and sighs. The plan was to end the season today at 1PM (ET) with a live event. Live events in games seem to be all the rage these days, especially for those who pay any attention at all to powerhouses like Fortnite.

    Season of the Worthy has angered Destiny 2 fans in record time.

    Destiny 2: Season of the Worthy launched on Tuesday. It took maybe 45 minutes after the new Season's release for the first complaint thread to pop up on Reddit. It usually takes a few days, usually a couple of weeks, before the honeymoon phase ends for a new Destiny 2 content drop. This took 45 minutes and that's a generous estimate.     Bungie Details Destiny 2's Season of the Worthy

    A new Season begins on March 10.

    Bungie finally revealed more details for their upcoming Season of the Worthy for Destiny 2 today. As it turns out, while a big focus will be on the return of Trials of Osiris, there will be some non-PvP content included. As part of today's big reveal, we get a look at a partial roadmap for the new season, a look at some new and returning gear, a little bit of a plot dump, and even a new trailer.
